A George III mahogany and brass mounted horse measuring stick, with an adjustable arm and engraved scale, inscribed 'F. NEWTON, GRANTHAM', with a detachable lower section to measure hounds, 206.3cm high.
Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
