Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg (1790-1865).
Princess Charlotte (1796-1817), daughter of George IV married Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg (1790-1865).
Her father when Prince Regent gifted the house Claremont as a wedding present to them in 1816. However Charlotte died in childbirth the following year.
Claremont in Surrey was known as Capability Brown`s Mansion and was originally built for Lord Clive of India.
The linen press was removed from Boyton Manor where Prince Leopold also lived but had most likely come from Claremont originally. It is stamped `Claremont` to the back.
