A Louis Philippe burr elm Lit en Bateau or Lit Pliant, by Francois Baudry, the hinged folding panel ends with scroll tops above hinged sides, to a plinth base, originally on truckle type castors, now with later castors, stamped twice 'BEAUDRY, BREVETE, RUE ST. ROCH. 10 E', and with a paper label inscribed 'Bary', 42.75in (108.5cm) h, 78in (198cm) l, 39.5in (100.5cm) d.
