A 19th century Anglo-Indian camphorwood secretaire military chest, in two halves with ebony mouldings, with two short drawers, the left fitted with a hinged writing slope, compartments for pens and inkwells and pigeon holes, the lock stamped 'CHUBB'S PATENT, 57 ST PAULS CHYD, LONDON, CHUBB & SON, MAKERS TO HER MAJESTY, 533109', above three long drawers, with sunken brass handles and side carrying handles, 44.25in (112.3cm) h, 43.5in (110.5cm) w, 20in (51cm) d Losses to mouldings.
