A late Victorian walnut twin pedestal desk by Maple & Co., the breakfront top inset gilt tooled leather to a leaf carved edge, the central drawer stamped 'Maple & Co.', flanked by three drawers to each pedestal with pierced brass handles and fitted Hobbs & Co, London brass locks, one missing, the open platform bases to brass castors, 30.5in (77.5cm) h, 60in (152.5cm) w, 34in (86.5cm) d. The underside of one drawer with an Army & Navy Depositary label inscribed 'Foulston 25/10/99'.
