A green leather writing case, with a sunken brass handle and applied leather panel stamped 'M.E.L.', to a folding fitted interior, with a spring release stationery envelope, to a pen tray having ink and light boxes and inset ceramic writing surfaces, gilt stamped and the brass lock stamped 'ASPREY, 166 BOND ST', 16in (40.5cm) w. Top repaired.
