A 17th century pewter baluster wedge measure, with a flat lid having two incised lines, the thumbpiece previously with a ball or hammerhead, to a scroll handle, touch mark of a 'flaming heart above D B' and 1'6?8', the lid with owner triad 'B over WM', the inside of the base with house mark of a bull, 8.75in (22cm) h.
