A TALL JAPANESE VASE BY MAKUZU KOZAN (1842-1916)
MEIJI OR TAISHŌ PERIOD, 20TH CENTURY

The cylindrical body decorated with a continuous river landscape in underglaze blue and with a faint pink hue in the sky above, with a meandering stream and many pines fading away into the mist, the base signed Makuzu Kozan sei, 30.7cm.
