EIGHT JAPANSE IRO-NABESHIMA CUP AND SAUCER SETS BY THE IMAEMON WORKSHOP
HEISEI ERA, 20TH/21ST CENTURY

Including six coffee cups and saucers and two sets of smaller ones, all decorated in underglaze blue and red, yellow, and green enamels with branches of camellia; each pieces marked Imaemon in underglaze blue underneath, in two tomobako (wood boxes), one inscribed Nishiki katsura-e kōchawan (polychrome coffee cups with flowers) and signed and sealed Imaemon on the reverse; the other inscribed Nishiki tsubaki-ga kōhi-wan (polychrome coffee cups with camellia) and Hizen, Arita, Imaemon and sealed Imaizumi Tōen, 15.5cm max.
