Blade 11 in., hira-zukuri, notare hamon, nakago with two ana, mumei, gilt-copper habaki with transverse striations; iron mokko-gata tsuba encrusted with a gilt butterfly; menuki in the form of gourds, lacquered saya with transverse fluting to the upper part, iron kojiri with a gilt praying mantis, kogatana with ken-horimono, kogai with black and gold finish en suite to the kozuka; offered with a purple katana bukuro; koshirae components associated, kogatana and kogai possibly modern.
