A Neoclassical white chalcedony intaglio, the oval-shaped agate plaque depicting 'Polyphemus the Cyclop, enamoured of Galatea, arranging his hair and looking at himself in the sea, which serves him as a mirror' also engraved with a pseudo signature for Kromos the ancient engraver, set within a metal frame, 4.5cm wide
