A Russian diamond set gold and enamel brooch

A Russian diamond set gold and enamel brooch, centred with a diamond set crown on oyster coloured guilloche enamel oval ground within a tied laurel two colour gold wreath. The shoulders millegrain set with graduated diamonds. Kokoshnick to rim. The pin with obscure mark, probably a Kokoshnik.

The Monomakh crown is an Imperial emblem and indicates that the brooch was probably a presentation piece.
