George IV, Pattern or Trial Striking of the Crown, 1821, in lead, by Benedetto Pistrucci, Obverse, the image and legend retrograde, laureate bust as currency type, toothed border, the reverse with partial graffiti date "FEB", plain edge, presumably struck with a collar on 3mm flan, 39mm. Scuffmarks and scratches, nearly very fine.
