POLICE); Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45; together with a dress miniature Colonial Police Medal and a corresponding ribbon bar; medals all about extremely fine.

Colonial Police Medal, Palestine and London Gazettes: 28/01/1944. "In recognition of gallant conduct in the Galilee District on 14th September 1943". Sergeant Stevens was wounded while attempting to apprehend "absconding offenders" (Hansard 22/09/43)
