‡Sydney Harpley R.A. (1927-1992) Physical energy, 1959 Bronze on a granite base 34cm high (30.5cm long) Sydney Harpley produced a bronze equestrian reduction of Physical Energy after George Frederic Watts. He produced a plaster cast in 1959, from which a silver cast was made to be presented by Lord Malvern to the Queen Mother in Lusaka in 1960 (now in the Royal Collection). From the original plaster cast Harpley also produced a small number in bronze of which this is one.
