An Edwardian silver Hanoverian-rat-tail pattern part-canteen,
over-stamped with maker's mark of Carrington and Co., London 1905,
three pronged tines, the reverse of the bowls with plain rat-tails, the reverse of the terminals with crests, comprising: twenty-four table forks, eleven tablespoons, seventeen dessert forks, sixteen dessert spoons, seven teaspoons, a soup ladle, a pair of basting spoons, and a pair of sauce ladles, plus nineteen silver-handled table knives and twenty-two dessert knives, by The Harrison Brothers, Sheffield 1905, approx. weighable 163oz. The crest is that of Coke of Norfolk (Holkham Hall).
