Raised in 1793 at Montrath as Queen's County Rifles militia. Re-designated in 1854 as the Royal Queen's County Rifles Militia. In 1881 The regiment became the 4th Bn The Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment. It was disbanded in 1922.
