A Victorian Irish Regimental silver Fiddle pattern tablespoon and butter knife, Royal Queen's County Rifle Militia,

the terminal with the Regimental badge, length 22.5cm and 20.5cm, approx. weight 4.4oz. (2)

Raised in 1793 at Montrath as Queen's County Rifles militia. Re-designated in 1854 as the Royal Queen's County Rifles Militia. In 1881 The regiment became the 4th Bn The Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment. It was disbanded in 1922.
