A George III Irish Regimental silver small Fiddle pattern tablespoon, Louth Militia,

the terminal with the Regimental badge, length 20cm, approx. weight 2.3oz.
Raised in 1793 at Colton. In 1797 the Regiment absorbed the Drogheada Militia, In 1855, the Regiment was re-designated the Lough Rifles. In 1881 the Regiment became the 6th Bn the Royal Irish Rifles, It disbanded in 1908.
