maker's mark partially worn, W.P over R.P, possibly for W and R Peaston, London 1761,
inverted pear form, chased foliate decoration, wooden scroll handle, the scroll spout with shell mounts, flush-hinged cover with acorn finial, on a raised circular foot, length handle to handle 21.8cm, approx. weight 16oz.
