maker's mark only of Thomas Punchard of Totnes and Dartmouth, circa 1640,
fig-shaped bowl, pricked 'I F 1622' to the underside, tapering stem, the gilt finial lacking nimbus, length 18.7cm, approx. weight 1.5oz.
