A George III silver seven-bottle cruet frame,

oval navette form, reeded wirework frame with a central carrying handle, on four fluted pillars, raised scroll ends, on four bracket feet with a pair of silver-mounted oil and vinegar bottles, and five further silver-mounted condiment jars, one cover lacking, with three electroplated spoons, the underside inscribed in Spanish 'To Sor Dm Erasmo Gower, Commander of the China Convoy in 1794, The Royal Company of Philipines in testimony of its gratitude for the excellent escort to his ship, King Charles', length 39.3cm, approx. weight 28.6oz.
