A George III provincial silver agricultural goblet,
by Hampston and Prince, York 1784, also with the town mark,
tapering circular bowl, inscribed 'The Reward of the Agriculture Society for the County of Durham Sept. 19, 1785, for the Best New Lamb', engraved with a monogram, traces of gilding to bowl, on a raised circular foot, 16.8cm, approx. weight 8.8oz.
