rounded upright rectangular form, the front engraved with a harbour scene within foliate scroll mantling above the motto 'Praemium Virtutis et Industrae', the reverse with a Scottish landscape scene, the flush-hinged cover with foliate decoration and a cypher, the base inscribed 'Donum J. M,ad?Jacobum Mansfiel Jan 1mo 1743', height 6cm, approx. weight 2.8oz,
