A George IV silver-mounted Naval wooden snuff box,

rectangular form, reeded mounts, the wooden sides, cover and base applied with four cartouches, inscribed 'Fury 1824', 'Griper' (x2) and 'Hecla', the base rim inscribed ' Made of the wood from Northern Discovery Ships by Michael Jones at Deptfor, 5th May 1824, foliate thumb-piece, silver-gilt interior, length 9.1cm.
