A George III Scottish provincial silver teapot,
by Nathaniel Gillet, Aberdeen circa 1795,
oval form, engraved decoration, wooden scroll handle, the hinged cover within oval finial, on a raised oval foot, engraved with crests and mottos and two sets of initials, length handle to spout 35.5cm, approx. weight 22.4oz.

Provenance: The Michael Baggott Collection.
The crest and initials are those of Alexander Duguid and Elizabeth Cheyne, who married at St. Nicholas Parish in Aberdeen on the 8th April 1795.
