An 18th century Scottish provincial silver waiter,

An 18th century Scottish provincial silver waiter,
by George Cooper, Aberdeen circa 1740,
circular form, moulded border, the centre with chased foliate scroll decoration, with a crest and motto, on three hoof feet, diameter 15.9cm, approx. weight 6oz.

The crest is that of Jones.

Provenance: The Michael Baggott Collection.
