baluster form, embossed with trailing flowers. scroll handle, domed hinged cover, engraved with an armorial, on a circular foot, the underside scratched 'P.A. J.A' over 'E.S.C' over '1762', height 26.5cm, approx. weight 24.5oz.

The arms are those of Calmady, Bonfield and Steukele.
