A William IV silver two-handled bowl,
by Robert Garrard, London 1834,
circular form with engraved chinoiserie decoration, scroll handles, engraved crests and armorials, length handle to handle 17.6cm, approx. weight 11.4oz.

The crest and arms are that of Hogg with Baronet's badge. Sir James Weir Hogg (1790-1876), an Irish businessman and lawyer, was created a baronet in 1846.
