rounded rectangular form, the hinged cover with a central scene with two figures and a cherub in a classical interior with a surrounding arms and militaria cartouche, the sides with militaria decoration on a matted background, with a militaria and arms motif to the base, plus a 19th century Russian silver and niello snuff box, maker's mark ЯB, Moscow 1850, total approx. weight 5.2oz.
