We are thrilled to present our two-day Silver, Gold & Objects of Vertu sale taking place on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October.
Day one of the sale features a range of wonderful items starting with a wide range of treasures from beyond our shores (lots 71-131) and then a private collection of caddy spoons (lots 133-144).
Also included in day one is a varied private collection of stamp boxes, postage and desk accessories featuring sweet novelty pieces and some with enamel or ceramic, bringing bright glimpses of colour.
Later in the day, there are wonderful examples of tea and coffee service components, including a George III silver coffee pot by John Swift and a four-piece late-Victorian silver tea and coffee set by Walker & Hall.
The standout items of this day are a large silver salver by Thomas Bradbury & Sons and a four-piece Victorian silver tea and coffee set by Martin, Hall & Co, adding to the array of tea and coffee service pieces on offer.
