A small mixed lot of old Sheffield plated items,

comprising: a pair of candlesticks, circa 1790, of tapering circular form, classical capitals, on raised square bases, beaded borders, height 28cm, plus a taper stick of Corinthian column form, circa 1770, on a raised square base with a beaded border, and a wax jack, circa 1790, wire-work lyre form, on an oval base, reeded border, ring handle with an oval thumb piece. (3)

Provenance: the candlesticks were purchased from S.J.Shrubsole, Museum Street, London 27 November 1972.
