A fine George III Irish regimental presentation silver two-handled tray,

rectangular form, with a chased border of husks and trailing scroll and vine decoration, with an outer border and acorns and shamrocks, gadroon edge, leaf and shell capped fluted handles, on four shell capped fluted scroll bracket feet, the centre engraved with an armorial and 'The Gift of the Yeomanry Captains of the County of Down to Robert Wallace Esq. Brigade Major Pursuant to Address of 27th March 1811', length handle to handle 82cm, approx. weight 208oz.
