An 18th century gold and enamel chatelaine,
unmarked, in the manner of Philipp Schindler II of Vienna, circa 1770,
with four enamelled panels of children on a rose coloured background, one panel a.f, the reverse with a plain clip, the gold links with enamelled green decoration, with a hanging watch key and a desk seal, the matrix engraved 'Je Plains sa mort et ma vie', length 11.4cm, approx. gross weight 55.5g.
