A small Elizabethan I silver mug,
probably by John Bottomley, London 1598,
tapering circular form, with a simple engraved foliate scroll band, scroll handle, the underside with an old museum loan number, height 5.5cm, approx. weight 1.7oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Listed in collection inventory as purchased 'ex R.W.M Walker Collection, no. 188', 17 July 1945.
