A George III silver snuffer's stand,
by Parker and Wakelin, London 1766,
shaped oval form, gadroon border, leaf capped scroll handle, on four hoof feet, engraved with a crest, the underside with a scratch weight '8"14', length 20cm, approx. weight 8.3oz.
The crest is that of Bavent of Norfolk and other families.
