A George III silver coffee pot, tea pot and cream jug,

by Solomon Hougham, London 1799 and 1801,

fluted oval form, scroll handles, engraved foliate decoration, flush hinged domed covers with oval finials, the coffee pot on a raised oval foot, engraved with a crest, height of coffee pot 25.5cm, approx. weight 44.9oz. (3)

The crest is that of Bateman of Hartington Hall and Breadsall Mount, Derbyshire
