A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' VASE

Decorated to the exterior with a simulated 'heaping and piling' effect with a wide band of stylised three-clawed dragons and phoenix in flight intertwined with scrolling lotus flowers, all between a ruyi-head band to the shoulder and a lappet band to the foot, 30.5cm.

By repute, formerly from a private European collection, formed in the early 20th century.
