A pair of silk and nué work ecclesiastical panels, each worked with appliqué on a golden ground with scrolling foliage around a central religious panel of the Virgin and of a hermit possibly St. Anthony of Padua, Italian or Spanish, late 16th / early 17th century, 58.5 x 83.5cm, each in a later glazed gilt frame.
