MEIJI AND LATER, 20TH CENTURY
The first with a slender pear-shaped body, signed, by Hata Zoroku IV (1898-1984); the second of tall ovoid form with a ribbed shoulder, signed, by Hata Ichiyō (1914-1996?), the third cylindrical vase with a narrow band, signed, by Hasegawa Kyūju (act. 1950s-80s); the fourth with a small bulbous body and an elongated neck with monster-head handles applied to the rim; all with tomobako (wood boxes), three inscribed and signed, 28.1cm max.
