The ovoid body raised on a short flaring foot and with an everted rim, decorated with a charming owl perched on a leafy maple branch, the full moon emerging from wispy clouds above; rendered in low relief with gold and silver inlays; signed Yamamoto sei to the base and Kōken to the side, 17.5cm.
