M.M. London Gazette: 03/06/1916

Archibald McLean entered France on the 22nd June 1915, and his unit joined the 47th Division, with which it served throughout the war, on the 25th. His Military Medal was announced in the first M.M. Gazette of the war. The 2/3 London Field Company T.F. (which became the 520th Field Company Territorial in February 1917) is notable for having manned the line as Infantry at Vimy Ridge in May 1916, and at Bazentin Le Petit Somme in March 1918 during the German Spring Offensive.
