Old Masters, British & European Art

We hold two sales a year of Old Masters, British and European art, from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The department offers a wide variety of paintings, works on paper and portrait miniatures, and our auctions attract bidding from across the world. Our sales are underpinned by meticulous research, and our specialists have made numerous significant discoveries. We also have a particularly strong reputation for handling significant collections, such as works from The Rothschild Collection at Exbury House.
