A Victorian gem-set silver-gilt ciborium,
by Carl Krall, London 1887, also stamped Krall,
plain circular bowl, the pull-off cover with a pierced gallery and cross finial, set with garnets, on a knopped baluster stem applied with citrine cabochons, on a raised hexafoil base with pierced borders and applied with diamonds, pearls, amethysts and citrines, height 22cm, approx. weight 16oz.
