A rare Charles II silver skillet and cover,

circular form, scroll handle, the front applied with a cartouche engraved with an armorial shield, the pull-off circular cover of bleeding bowl form, with a pierced handle and engraved with the same armorial shield, on three stylised hoof feet, the underside with an old museum loan number, and paper collection label, diameter 14cm, height 13.2cm, approx. weight 22.9oz.
